Collegiate Chapters Affiliation: All collegiate chapters are required each year to submit their 3-Chapter Affiliation Reports – Chapter Plan, Annual Report and Chapter Leader Reporting (Affiliation Contacts). All Collegiate Chapters are required to submit a Chapter Plan and Annual Report to remain affiliated as an active AMA Collegiate Chapter in good standings. All chapters with an interest in competing in the Top Chapters and\/or Functional awards recognized at the International Collegiate Conference must submit both a Chapter Plan and an Annual Report, and your chapter must express their interest to be judged.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nAffiliation Reporting: Chapter Plans<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The Chapter Plan is intended to focus the chapter\u2019s attention and efforts on what needs to be accomplished in the academic year and how the chapter will achieve those goals. \n\n\n\nAMA Regional Host Grants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
For almost 40 years, the Student Career Forums (SCF) by Marketing EDGE have introduced students to the world of direct\/digital and data-driven marketing. In addition, these forums delivered practical information to students on what they can do to prepare for a career in marketing while they are still in school. Offered in different regions across the country, the forums also gave students a glimpse into marketers’ day-to-day lives and valuable tips on landing internships and their first job out of school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moving forward, the American Marketing Association will be providing select AMA Collegiate Regional Events with Regional Host Grants (previously Career Forum Grants) to elevate their career development components and broaden their reach beyond the host institution, as we aim to continue the purpose of the SCFs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Selected chapters will receive:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- $1,000 Student Career Forum Grant<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Support from the AMA Collegiate Communities Team throughout the event planning process<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Assistance in marketing and communication efforts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
To be selected, a regional event should:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Include a career development-focused keynote event or panel<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Include networking opportunities between students and professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Include outreach to their nearest Professional Chapter and at least two nearby Collegiate Chapters\n
\n- These chapters can either be invited to attend or collaborate on the event with you! <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Be open to students within their region, beyond the institution, and regardless of AMA membership<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Include in its program outcomes to prepare students for a career in marketing, whether during their time at school, or post-graduation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Incorporate diverse, equitable and inclusive strategies throughout the event planning and execution process<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Event can be either existing or inaugural<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Chapters at Minority-serving Institutions (HBCUs, HSIs, etc.) are especially welcome to apply<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Once your chapter submits, the AMA collegiate team will consider your application and begin the selection process 2-3 weeks after the form closes. Please note, only one application per regional event will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The American Marketing Association\u2019s Collegiate Mentorship Program supports collegiate students in their journeys to become professionally competent marketers. Through this program, students will be matched with mentors that are experienced professionals in the Marketing field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chapter Leaders: Affiliation Reporting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Collegiate Chapters Affiliation: All collegiate chapters are required each year to submit their 3-Chapter Affiliation Reports – Chapter Plan, Annual Report and Chapter Leader Reporting (Affiliation Contacts). All Collegiate Chapters are required to submit a Chapter Plan and Annual Report to remain affiliated as an active AMA Collegiate Chapter in good standings. All chapters with an interest in competing in the Top Chapters and\/or Functional awards recognized at the International Collegiate Conference must submit both a Chapter Plan and an Annual Report, and your chapter must express their interest to be judged.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Chapter Plan is intended to focus the chapter\u2019s attention and efforts on what needs to be accomplished in the academic year and how the chapter will achieve those goals. The Chapter Plan is designed to assist chapter leadership and members in developing their chapter goals and the strategies that will be used to achieve those goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Chapter Plan Deadline: October 1, 2025 at 11:59pm CST (Other Time Zones: 12:59am EST \/ 10:59pm MST \/ 9:59pm PST)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Late Chapter Plan Submission Link Now Available – Click on Learn More to Access.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Annual Report helps focus the chapter’s attention on what was accomplished in the academic year and it summarizes the impact of those efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Annual Report Deadline: February 4, 2026 at 11:59pm CST (Other Time Zones: 12:59am EST \/ 10:59pm MST \/ 9:59pm PST)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Note: Late Annual Reports will not qualify for ICC Top Chapter Awards and will not be judged.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Attention Faculty Advisors<\/strong>: Help us judge the Annual Reports – Sign up today via the Collegiate Volunteer Judging Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All active Collegiate Chapters are required to report their incoming chapter leaders\/e-board members on March 1 or anytime during the academic year that the chapter may experience chapter leader updates. In addition, these forums delivered practical information to students on what they can do to prepare for a career in marketing while they are still in school. Offered in different regions across the country, the forums also gave students a glimpse into marketers’ day-to-day lives and valuable tips on landing internships and their first job out of school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moving forward, the American Marketing Association will be providing select AMA Collegiate Regional Events with Regional Host Grants (previously Career Forum Grants) to elevate their career development components and broaden their reach beyond the host institution, as we aim to continue the purpose of the SCFs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To be selected, a regional event should:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Once your chapter submits, the AMA collegiate team will consider your application and begin the selection process 2-3 weeks after the form closes. Please note, only one application per regional event will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fall 2026 applications will open March 9, 2-26.<\/strong> Applications will close Sunday, December 7, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The American Marketing Association\u2019s Collegiate Mentorship Program supports collegiate students in their journeys to become professionally competent marketers. Through this program, students will be matched with mentors that are experienced professionals in the Marketing field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mentor and Mentee applications are currently closed.<\/strong> Applications for the 2026 program year will launch in May 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n American Marketing Association Foundation (AMAF) scholarships<\/a> are for marketing students who are leaders on campus and in the classroom.
